Join us at De Grendel Restaurant for our next Winemaker’s Dinner, hosted by our Winemaker, Morgan Steyn, for an evening celebrating one of wine’s most iconic pairings: steak and Shiraz.

The evening begins with a welcome drink, followed by a 4-course dinner expertly paired with a selection of De Grendel wines. Along the way, Morgan will share the stories behind the wines and explore what makes Shiraz such a remarkable partner to perfectly prepared steak.

Enjoy an intimate evening of exceptional food, outstanding wines and great conversation in the beautiful setting of De Grendel Restaurant.

21 August: Wine Pairing Dinner at Grande Roche

An evening shaped by exceptional wine, thoughtful pairings and a menu worth lingering over.

On Friday, 21 August, Grande Roche welcomes Charles Hopkins, Cellarmaster of De Grendel, for a special wine pairing dinner in the heart of the Cape Winelands.

Guests will begin with canapés before enjoying three carefully prepared courses, each paired with a selection from six De Grendel wines. The evening will feature celebrated wines including Proposal Hill Cap Classique Brut Rosé, Rubaiyat and Edel Laat Oes.
