A Meeting of Masters - with De Grendel and Steenberg

Join us for a first-of-its-kind Winemaker’s Dinner as De Grendel and Steenberg come together in a unique collaboration celebrating fine winemaking. This exclusive evening features a gourmet journey by Chef Ian, including canapés, welcome drinks, and a meticulously paired three-course dinner, showcasing the best of both estates.

Hosting the evening are Charles Hopkins (De Grendel Cellar Master) and Elunda Basson (Steenberg Cellarmaster), longtime friends whose friendship dates back to Elunda’s early days as a winemaking student in 1997. A Master of Cap Classique and key figure in South Africa’s Sauvignon Blanc landscape, Elunda serves as Chairlady of the SA Sauvignon Blanc Association and Vice-Chairperson of the Cap Classique Association.

For the first time, De Grendel and Steenberg unite to present a curated selection of their finest wines, with Charles and Elunda sharing their expertise, stories, and the rich heritage behind each bottle.

Savour the finest wines, indulge in an exceptional dining experience, and be part of this historic collaboration between two of South Africa’s most celebrated wineries.
