Introducing the Limited Release Sensory Wine Box

We are pleased to release our exclusive and limited release Sensory Wine Box, which allow De Grendel fans to enjoy a private tasting with friends in the comfort of their homes. The Sensory Wine Box comprises of De Grendel wines and a variety of sensory items to pair with each wine and will be accompanied by a virtual online wine tasting conducted by Charles Hopkins or our assistant winemaker Morgan Steyn.

We will discuss each wine and sensory item in detail on various dates. The tasting is ideal for wine clubs or a group of wine friends who would like to share a bottle of wine in a safe space while the tasting is still being led by a wine professional.

Each sensory box will contain a bottle of each of the following wines plus a sensory item per wine:
De Grendel Sauvignon Blanc 2020 
De Grendel Viognier 2020 
De Grendel Rosé 2020 
De Grendel Merlot 2018                                      
De Grendel Pinotage 2019 
De Grendel Rubaiyat 2016 

We will conduct the virtual tastings on the following dates:
Rosé & Pinotage: 15 October, 18h00 to 19h00
Sauvignon Blanc & Merlot: 22 October, 18h00 to 19h00
Viognier & Rubaiyat: 29 October, 18h00 to 19h00

Loyalty Club Members pay R1,050 per box and non-members pay R1,200 per box. Prices include all wines, sensory edibles, and delivery, anywhere in South Africa. A limited amount of boxes are available to purchase via our Loyalty Club Coordinator, Amelia Truter, at club@degrendel.co.za
