Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. The promoter is: De Grendel Wines (Pty) Ltd (company no. 2004/016126/07) whose registered office is at De Grendel Wines, Plattekloof Road, Panorama.
  2. Employees of De Grendel Wines (Pty) Ltd, their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition and will not be eligible to win.
  3. To enter the compotition you have to buy 12 or more bottles of De Grendel Wine from www.degrendel.co.za during the specified competition period.
  4. Winner will be drawn at random from all entries received and verified by the Promoter and/or its agents. The winner’s ID might be requested for proof of age.
  5. The winner will be contacted via email address or contact number provided on placing their winning order on www.degrendel.co.za.
  6. Entrants must be 18 years or older and reside in South Africa. 
  7. Winner will be announced on De Grendel's Facebook page and other social media channels after the month of August. De Grendel Wines (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to change the announcement date for whatever reason.
  8. Closing date for entry will be at 12AM on Monday, 31 August 2015. After this time no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  9. The prize’s value adds up to R15,000. The prize for the winner is a R5,000 shopping voucher from Habits Fashion in Claremont, lunch for two at the De Grendel Restaurant to the value of R750 and R9,250 worth of De Grendel wine calculated at normal retail prices(Wines to be selected by the promoter).  
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  11. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  12. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material.
  14. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
