Like our Chardonnay, the De Grendel Pinot Noir is made from grapes grown on the Graaff family farm high up in the Witzenberg mountains on the Ceres Plateau and received Top 100 SA Wines status in 2013.

Maturation took place in a combination of new and older 225 litre French Oak barrels for a period of twelve months.
